Nikki Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the UN, claimed that a list of donors to her right-leaning nonprofit, Stand for America, was leaked to the media by the office of the New York State Attorney General.
Politico controversially released the list of unidentified donors this week, and Haley suggested on Tuesday that New York State Attorney General Letitia James might have been responsible for the leak.
We examine the final page that Politico gave, and it has the stamp of the New York State Attorney General's office. Therefore, that office disclosed it to the media," the former ambassador stated.
After the release of donor information, Nikki Haley promises to launch a "grenade" at the NY attorney general: "That Office Leaked It."
Haley disclosed that she will be suing the office and requesting that Attorney General Merrick Garland look into the state attorney general's office.
In response to the leak, or what she called "lawlessness," Haley vowed to "launch a grenade."
There is just no justification for this criminality, and the notion that the New York State Attorney General can break both state and federal tax laws,
Well, you know, we won't be throwing cotton balls at them; instead, we'll be using a grenade to let them know when enough is enough.
