PTI Foreign funding Case ! Future of PTI and Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: During the hearing on the application filed against the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf regarding foreign funding, the lawyer of Tehreek-e-Insaf sought adjournment for consultation.
According to the details, on the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and party leader Jahangir Tareen for running the party with alleged funds received from abroad, including non-disclosure of assets and offshore companies in the Election Commission, the lawyer of Tehreek-e-Insaf. Respite has been sought for consultation.

The petition has been filed by Muslim League leader Hanif Abbasi.

During the hearing, Imran Khan’s lawyer Anwar Mansoor Khan said that according to the law, no individual can challenge the accounts of any political party, while he also has reservations about the jurisdiction of the Election Commission, including the Supreme Court, regarding external funding.

The court adjourned the hearing till May 23, giving time to the lawyer of Tehreek-e-Insaf for consultation.
